Born+Bred nominates Chile One MrZambia, Triple M Jay Rox, Drimz, and Mr Crown for “Best Dunka Video.” Dunka is one of Zambia’s most popular and streamed types of music.
Chile One, who is also known as MrZambia, is nominated for his single titled “Back Again.” The video has over 7 million streams on YouTube.
Triple M, who is the founder of Not Ati Shani Music Entertainment, is nominated for his all-time most-streamed single tagged “Follow.” This record, Follow, featured one of Malawi’s most talented singers and songwriters, Driemo. Follow has over 20 million streams on YouTube.
Head Phone Music frontliner, Jay Rox, who is also well known after his album, Lion, is nominated for his single tagged “Waist Line.” In the official music video, Jay Rox featured his wife, who is a model by profession.
On the other hand, the “Don’t Go Away” hitmaker, Mr Crown, was nominated for the same single. “Don’t Go Away.” Don’t Go Away features one of Zambia’s top-notch and dominant artists, Yo Maps, who has made it a mission to turn flop singles into bangers of the year.
Last on the list is Drimz, sometimes called Drimz Mr Music. Among these nominees, he is nominated for his single “Akamunsoli.”
